Back to Work- No Worries

Ahhh, 4:15 Wake Up

That’s right, I have to wake up at 4:15 AM tomorrow. Back to work. Don’t get me wrong, I like my job, I enjoy the people I work with, and even look forward to the things I get to do, but I love being with my family. I took Christmas Eve and New Years Eve off this year, my plan was to save my vacation for the summer. Now I am thinking I definitely need more time next year around Christmas/New Years.

So, what’s this blog about. Nothing really, it’s really just some of my experiences.

For instance:

Chinese Food on New Years eve is way overrated. Everything we got last night was cold. Lesson learned, Chinese Food is good (not healthy) every other day of the year except New Years Eve. On New Years it is cold and kind of old. We would have been better off going to McDonalds.

New Years resolutions, not going to try and lose weight because by trying I usually fail, so if I don’t try maybe I will lose. Although, the 4 Cokes, the turkey club, 3 cupcakes, 3 glasses of OJ and 4 peices of cinnamon bread, roast beef, mashed potatoes and 3 pieces of bread I had today probably aren’t helping. Here’s to another year of trying to stay below 230 when I should 50 pounds lighter.

Television is great right now, although Breaking Bad doesn’t come back until the Summer. I love Revenge and Revolution. Also, Hulu, Hulu + and Netflix have cut my cable bill by half. You don’t need a DVR anymore with Hulu, which is great. I watch them on my Apple TV, Roku, and Vizio Smart TV. I would have said the Ruku was the best until I bought the Vizio. Having internet built into a TV is amazing. Both the Ruku and the Vizio are better than Apple because they have Amazon, which is way cheaper than ITunes to rent and buy movies. The Vizio is awesome because it has apps from Yahoo, you can pull the weather up while watching TV, check out financials stuff, and Netflix, Hulu and tons of other awesome sites are built right in. It was definitely the best buy we made in 2012. We got a 40 inch at Costco for $450.00. Costco by the way, and most people know this, is the greatest store on earth. The greatest in the cloud is Amazon. So enough of this unpaid advertisement. If you have $450 buy a Vizio, if not pay $50 and get the Roku. You’ll thank me later.

So this is random, but 2013 is going to be a great year. I know a lot of people talking about the markets and how the fiscal cliff and debt ceiling are going to screw them up. To me it is perfect time to buy, and I don’t think they will get that screwed up. So don’t worry. Peace
